I've had a couple MIM Fender Teles (one Standard series and one Deluxe) and they were both very good instruments, didn't need to be modded, fine just the way they were.

It's like asking which is better a BMW or a Ford. Both will get you from A to B
in relative comfort. One cost more than the other, but if you could afford either
